WHO WE ARE
Mission
2Bills Literary Agency represents people, not just projects, and views each author as a business partner, not just as a client. Together with each author we create a cogent business proposal and represent the author’s best interests not just during contract negotiations, but throughout the entire publishing process. Our focus, always, is on the success of the author’s book in the marketplace and the success of the author’s career as a writer.
Principals
Bill Dorn has spent 45+ years in publishing and related media. Following stints as a writer and city editor with the Mankato (MN) Free Press daily newspaper, and magazine publisher, Miller Publishing Company, he founded and led Dorn Communications, Inc. Following the sale of Dorn Communications, Dorn founded Publishing Advisers International, Inc., a magazine management consulting company, which he operated for 20 years.
